DECK BUILD ASPECTS
DECK FOOTINGS
Your Deck's footings are one of the most important aspects of your deck. Integrity Structures uses a number of different applications to obtain a SOLID foundation to build your deck, porch or outdoor living space on. Our most recommended footing style is going to be a Helical footing which is a galvanized heavy gauge steel pile that is augured into the ground until it achieves its engineered torque spec requirements which factor in soil conditions. These are suitable for builds of any size. Our Second options are going to be Diamond Pier footings and Concrete footings. Diamond Pier footings will typically be used for for cost efficiency with-in a project, these footings do work exceptionally well with decks and they allow for a fast and accurate installation where we don't have to bring equipment through the yard and excavation is light. Concrete footings are classic options that are suitable for large and small projects, they have a lower profile finish than diamond piers, however these do require quite a bit of soil removal and they also require the depth of the hole to be inspected prior to pouring, which also has a requires some cure time before fully loading on the new concrete.
DECK FRAMING
A decks framing is often the most overlooked aspect of a deck. We take the framework just as serious as the finish work that you can see. Integrity Structures has a number of examples showing our framework and every time you can see the symmetry of the joist layout, the straight line of mid-span pressure blocking, accurate angle blocking, and planned joists. These decking products that are being used on our decks are 25-50 year + products; furthermore they conform to the sub surface (framing) of a deck more so than wood decking as they go over potential high or low spots, and they need to be installed on a framework that is fine tuned joist to joist for a smooth plane. We Install composite or PVC decking. DECK RAILING INSTALL
Integrity structures Offers a number of different Railing types, all of which are heavy duty aluminum powder coated railings in color options of Black, Dark Bronze, and White which will not rust. Integrity Structures offers installation of glass railings, cable railings, baluster railings, and privacy railings. These railings are products manufactured by TimberTech and have industry leading warranties. We have been working with these product for several years and their R&D team has only made the system better over time, it is a finish carpenters railing relying on accurate measuring and precise cuts but the end result look is extremely nice; while still sometimes beating manufacturing competitors on pricing.
