This Screened Porch and Deck Combination was built in Plymouth, complete with a railing-light package, matching Andersen doors, Custom Screens, a fan, recessed lighting, a roof built into the house as if its always existed and more. This outdoor living space is extremely functional and totally finished using AZEK maintenance free materials with no paint.
In this project we built a large 32' wide by 17' deep roof over an existing deck and hot tub space. This created a massive covered area suitable for relaxing and hosting events. The roof structure was finished out with AZEK trim by TimberTech on every surface leaving us with an incredible maintenance free finish on this beautiful project. Roof was engineered to 3:12 pitch allowing for a shingle roof covering which we later brought through onto the entire house.
This was a porch done to keep this south facing backyard living space more shaded, and also gives this family a great space to grill, relax, and enjoy the weather day or night, rain or shine. This video highlights its key features and points out some of the options we went with to tie this new structure into the existing house wall in the most aesthetically pleasing way possible.
